Originally Michael’s existed as 4 websites. A landing site called bestfood.com, Michael’s on East, Michael’s Catering, Michael’s Ballroom and Michael’s Fine Wines. Our challenge was to create one site that maintained the Michael’s brand while easily representing each arm of the company in a distinct way. The client also wanted a site that was easy to edit for someone with very little web experience.
We chose WordPress as our platform of choice. We created one site with individually branded areas for each part of their business. The navigation was set up to easily move from section to section all the while maintaining a simple layout that was staying within the Michaels brand.
The result is an easy to navigate, easy to make quick changes to, clear simple site that is very effective at showcasing the Michaels brand and easily integrating the original 4 websites into one.
